I Twittered it and now I'm blogging it. ;). I'm moving up to my grammies house for the foreseeable future and I would just like to warn you that contact may be at a minimum at first. :). I'm getting a laptop as soon as the opportunity presents itself. lol. Whenever that may be - hopefully soon! I DO have a book to write. lol.
Anyway, I will only have the library access like now. I don't know how things are going to work out and I'm a little bit scared, but a LOT bit excited. I have an informal interview on monday with my grammie's boss lady and then she will decide wether she's the least, tiny, ity-bit interested. I am giving them the first two weeks without pay so that they can train up to their WAY of doing things. I think it'll be great!! I'm sooooo happy. I've been jumping up and down for happiness all day long. lol. :D
I'll probably get in trouble for posting this (I'm suppose to be at church right now - it's a block away and I couldn't resist telling you guys!!!).
So, I'm moving. I've got everything all packed up and now I'm just stressing over IF they will like me at "first glance" or "first interview" or first "whatever". lol.
I think I'm going to try and volunteer at the library up there, but first things must come first. :D. You all have a great new year!!!

You're leaving! Arrrrgh! Not that I'm anywhere near you, anyhow, but... you know what I mean. Anyhow, good luck with the interview--just be professional and yourself and you'll do fine. Don't get discouraged, either! Submit applications to as many places as you can and be persistent. Call the people, like, every other day or so to let them know you're interested in working for them. You'll get something. Trust me.
How did it go? I'm reading this a month later - did you get the job? How are you settling in?
I agree with Mel about the job advice. Be yourself, professional and don't let nerves get you.
Also, if you don't know something or how to do something, I've found it a good idea to let them know you're a quick study - and perhaps more important, let 'em know you're willing to learn. That makes you valuable - nobody's going to know how to do everything.
Good luck in whatever stage you're in by now!
