In my church we have a Secret Sister program. I need some ideas on what I can get for my S. S......she is a very awesome woman who likes - pretty much anything - so if you have got any ideas about it then I would be so happy! I'll let you know how it goes throughout the year.

Today: Stargate Audina

For those of you who don't read Mel's blog - hop on over and read some!!! - we are starting a virtual Stargate series online to commence this fall at the return of our favorite SG shows. I will be putting up a link on the bar so that you can go on over and take a look at our progress. It will be a WIP until this fall, and no stories will be posted until then, but you can still see how the site is progressing and give us some tips, pointers, advice, feedback, etc. on the look and feel of the site. Neither of us are very experienced with web designing, but it has been a blast getting first A Current of Fancy off the ground and now Stargate Audina. . .it's going to be a fun trip and I'll keep you all updated! ;).

Today: Movie Moment

I was lucky enough to see 300 this last Saturday - with Nat-han, no less! - and I wanted to tell all of you who haven't seen it yet that it was so good. Really fantastic!!! The actors. the story, the filming, the action ...everything was perfect. However, there is a reason that it rated R. Lots of blood, guts, gore, sex, abuse, weird images, etc. run rampant in this movie, but it still turned out good. I LOVED the last, like, second of it...great stuff!

While I was at my Grammies, I had the opportunity to see the Lethal Weapon series again - it's been about a year since I've seen them - and I've just got to tell you that I fell in love with Rig's character all over again. Those movies will last FOREVER. Sirius-ly. FOREVER. I hope that they make a sequel while they still can.

I've heard about a Die Hard sequel..that will be cool!!! I luve Bruce and the Die Hard movies (Especially One and Three) were just great. Samuel L. Jackson did good on the third one!

I got to see the two Librarian movies that I've seen commercials for EVERYWHERE, they sucked. The guy was much too over the top in his acting.

Okay, I've gotta get off - storms gone, BTW, and I didn't get zapped. ;). Still, I've got stuff to do so until later! Namarie...

Today: Artemis Fowl

I would just like to state publicly that I am a huge fan of the Artemis Fowl books!!! I just finished the latest one last week and it was FANTASTIC! I don't want to go into detail ('cause you know I will) and then spoil it for some of you. Just know that it is GOOD.

Today: Computer, Computer

Well, I beat those computer fairies off and now have full internet access and my programs have been reinstalled. Unfortunately, the worst thing of all, I lost every single one of my pictures. I had waaaay too many to save to a disc. and as of yet I have not invested in a external hardrive / thumb drive. So, I lost about 3, 000 pictures!!! That I am not happy about.

Okay, today I am cleaning my room. That is, like, amazing for me. I usually clean everything BUT my room.

I worked on an original story using my brother's (Nat-han's - you can catch a picture of him on my Sibling Rivalry post) laptop. It's called Scrat. . .It's a nice laptop. Anywhoo, I will be posting a little teaser for that story in the upcoming week. It has been a blast to write so far...I think I'll give you a summary of it:

There is a force known as the Unseen...it resides in dimension called Mass and through the Unseen dimension Chosen ones are linked mentally. In the small country of Tridale-High - who just happens to be at war with it's neighboring country, BTW - two teenagers, a boy and a girl are about to discover that they are of the Chosen ones. Together and with the blessing of their Queen - also a Chosen - they set off on an adventurous mission to find the Lost Caves where an ancient text has been hidden away for many, many years. This text explains the mystery of the Chosen/Unseen/Mass ...stuff. (I'm still working on this part, 'cause it won't take place for another hundred pages). The two teenagers are Terra Wright (Who I am naming the story after) and Taylor Gill Farethain (Poor kid)...Terra is the Queen's personal maid and Taylor is a foot soldier for the Royal Army. When they set out, they go with a really cool character named Ransom Ordinary...his parents didn't understand English that well when they named him - they had just come to the country. Okay, so far in the story Terra and Taylor do NOT get along AT ALL. . .but they will eventually...maybe even some romancie stuph. Not too much though, I don't like writing fluff. Angst is more my thing, and there will be lots of that in this story. I'm only on my first draft though so things could change pretty drastically by the time that I have it completely finished.

I spent this last week at my Grammie's house. She is soooooo awesome, but then again, so is my Grampa. My older brother is living with them at the moment as he prepares for training. Ooooh! I don't think that I told you wonderful people!!! Nat-han joined the National Guard! I am just so proud of him. =). =). =). I would join, but I'm not physically able. Too bad.

Okay, we have a major rain/hail/stormy-weather-thing that just appeared out of nowhere. So I am going to wrap this up incase I have to shut the computer down. Anyway, just wanted to let you know that I was back. =). And give you a little taste of what my day has been like so far.

Today: HeartDrive Troubles

Well, folks, it is official. I have lost EVERYTHING on my hardrive...*weeps uncontrollably*...

Okay, well, now that you know the extremely bad news I can get down to the business of telling you what I have been doing this last week. I made another pair of slippers - these ones are a really soft light blue and they are sooooo warm. I have also started a new original story which is going FANTASTIC!!!! I've been writing it out on my brother's computer, because he was kind enough to let me keep it in my room until I can get my own back. Matt-hew really is the best little brother a sister could possibly ask for...you can see a picture of him on my Sibling Rivalry post. =). I have also been working on a blanket. It's red and white and I am hoping to get it done by Christmas...my blankets usually never get finished, but I have high hopes for this one!

My library is completely finished. I just need to print out a list of the books that we have available so that I can have it in there for anyone looking for a specific book. =). That is going to have to wait a while, because the file was one my computer. Oh well....I guess I'll get over it eventually.

My computer is getting back home tonight, but I do not know if I will be able to post right away or not. Here's to hoping!! TTY wonderful peopl L. ;).
